Beginning Fingerstyle Blues
The book starts with learning a basic alternating bass lineline using the thumb and gradually builds from there. I had tried to learn this previously but for some reason just couldn't get it. Now after just a few hours I can play the bass line quarter notes along with accompanying half or quater notes and I'm working on eighth notes.
The only downside to the book is the CD. It has plenty of examples and is very helpful but I think the book originally came with a cassette and the publisher simply dumped it to CD so the lessons don't directly correspond with a track, you sometimes have to fast forward to get where you want to be.
